In 1991, Andreas Krieg sat in the biogas office in Weckelweiler and took care of the biogas courses of the local farming school. Together with the heating engineer Erwin Köberle, the electrical engineer Ekkehard Schneider and the agricultural machinery manufacturer Gert Beck, he also built his first biogas plants in parallel. She wanted to share her experience with the fermentation of biogenic substances and the energetic use of the resulting biogas with others.
In the farming school Hohenlohe in Weckelweiler in the district of Schwäbisch Hall, the first biogas courses were already held at that time. And in Boxberg, just a few kilometers to the north, the alternative farmer organization Bundschuh had founded a biogas group in the mid-eighties.
